A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME LESBIAN ART GROUP
ROSE's Sept. entertainer at the Lesbian Coffeehouse will be Rosa Holub. She is a singer/songwriter from Trenton who has performed at the Women's Center and Women In The Arts festival at Trenton State College. PITTSBURGH'S BIZARRE BAZAAR The annual gay community festival will be held this year on November 10th, from 10 AM to 5 PM at Calvary Episcopal Church, corner of Walnut St. and Shady Ave. in East Liberty. The title of this year's festivities is "Bicarre Dimensions" and will incorporate themes of space travel, gay celebration and the City of Pittsburgh as a place to enjoy the freedom of alternative lifestyles.

Shelly Clark, formerly an associate at Chrysalis Center in Buckingham, PA is now. providing a private counseling service for the lesbian community at a new location in Bucks county. Her practice is convenient to women residing in the Bux-Mont area. Shelly is a clinical social worker, holding a MSW degree. She offers individual, group and family counseling. New Orleans author and bookstore owner Tom Horner has been commissioned by the American Theological Library Assoc. to do a book length bibliography on Homosexuality and the Judeo-Christian Tradition. The bibliography will be annotated and is to be published by Scholars Press in 1980. The Feminist Therapy Collective, Inc., 2132 Lombard St. is offering two workshops for women this fall. Assertiveness Training is an 8 week course, beginning Thurs., Oct. 4, 6-8 PM.. designed to help women identify their needs and communicate them clearly. Group exercises, discussion, and practice provide an experimental and supporitve atmosphere. Through Depression and Rage to Power is a two day experimental workshop, Oct. 6-7, for women working to unfold and refocus and rage which are often the energy heart of depression.
